We are back!

The self-administered insolvency process -initiated July 5, 2023- and the related restructuring measures were approved with one consent for the mother (LEWO-tec GmbH) and subsidiary (GEWO GmbH) by the responsible court in Saarbrücken with effect from July 16, 2024. This means that our main goal: the unrestricted continuation of business operations at the location –as during the process– was achieved! Essential to this was a successful team effort by self-administration (led by the general representative and restructuring expert RA Dr. M. Gitzinger), administrators (GEWO: RA Dr. D. Blank, LEWO: RA S. Hainz), creditor representatives, our team and other contributors. While the restructuring, the basis for a successful restart in a challenging market environment is set, which allows us to look to the future with confidence.

Finally, we would like to say sincere thank you to everyone involved, but especially to our customers and suppliers, who have accompanied us with trust through this deep valley and without whom we would not be where we are now.
